ABOUT

Queentide is a collective of Santa Barbara musicians who dip into salty grunge-rock with a fresh, indie twist. Distorted guitar riffs, indulgent bass lines and dynamic, crisp percussions pull you down for a 90’s rock resurgence. Silky vocals and triple-femme harmonies bring you back up for air.

One weekend on California’s coast, singers Maddy Dahm and Emma Vogan started sharing original songs. Dahm met Clean Spill lead guitarist Cameron Crabtree at a show and they started recording demos. At their first gig, local beekeeper Bela Lafferty joined them onstage, shaking a tambourine and eating tacos.

The band spent their first few months rehearsing on Dahm's front porch, coining a genre that would eventually define their sound: Porch Rock.

The group eventually out-grew their front porch practice space when drummer Diego Melgoza joined the group, bringing out the indie and surf rock influences they'd hoped to find.

After an EP and two singles, the group released their first full length album in September 2021.
